Public Alert Systems (PAS’s) provide an audible warning
signal to alert people of possible immediate harm, thereby
saving lives in addition to minimizing corporate liability and
associated financial loss. PAS’s can signal evacuation orders
in the event of industrial spills, fires, and any other
circumstance likely to put lives at risk.

Unless the warning signal is audible above the ambient noise
environment, and sufficiently attention-grabbing to convey a
message of danger, it will not function effectively in
prompting evacuation and preserving lives.
