Our noise control work involves controlling noise from
exterior sources such as industrial sources, outdoor noise
events e.g. wedding and outdoor concerts, transportation
noise sources, sporting activities including shooting ranges
and gun clubs. 

Our industrial noise work has included the monitoring,
assessment and control of industrial noise from a wide
variety of sources e.g. wood mills and processing facilities,
pump stations, power houses, factories, natural gas stations,
port terminals etc. Noise control measures typically include
design of acoustic barriers and/or berms, use of silencers to
control noise from exhaust systems and/or vibration isolation
of heaving rotating or reciprocating machinery. Sometimes,
changing the operating conditions of noise producing
systems or equipment can significantly reduce noise
emissions to the community.
